Bio:

Recto Rodriguez began his wrestling career in the tag team 'Heart and Soul' during the inaugural FSW show. His aspirations for the FSW World Class Tag Team Championships were crushed when his partner betrayed him for the FSW Internet Championship, sparking a fierce rivalry. Recto ultimately prevailed in a Three Stages of Hell match at his first pay-per-view.

Throughout his career, Recto earned many titles and introduced the Million Dollar Championship to FSW as its first holder. After retiring from in-ring competition in CWX, following a loss to Ràvéñ, he returned at CWE & FSW Rebellion: The Aftermath, winning the CWX European Championship.

Recto continued by securing a CWE Universal Championship match, defeating Raven and maintaining the title since. In early 2022, he targeted the FSW World Championship. After winning the FSW MITV in January, he attempted to cash it in at FSW Silver Lining but was thwarted by a disqualification. The Godfather then cashed in the 2021 FSW Briefcase, becoming world champion. Recto was promised a rematch by Anarchy but fell short again.

A turning point came at the Triple Crown PPV, where he finally captured Anarchy's title in a gauntlet match. However, just before his first defence, he suffered an injury at Armageddon. Upon returning at FSW Sink or Swim, he lost the title to The Godfather.

In a rematch weeks later, high-stakes stipulations were set: if Recto lost, Anarchy would choose a mask for him, barring him from challenging for the title. Recto unfortunately lost, and Anarchy chose a large baby mask for him, leading to Recto's humiliation and a hiatus from CWE for the rest of 2022.

Returning in 2023, Recto faced numerous setbacks for championships, including a loss in a triple-threat match for the inaugural Undisputed FSW World Lightweight Championship, won by The Godfather. However, after defeating Witty Witterson for a title shot against Anarchy, Recto's redemption arc began.

Revolution 2023 was pivotal as Recto faced Anarchy again for the Undisputed FSW World Lightweight Championship. The Godfather, undefeated since claiming the title, faced Recto's determination. In an intense match, Recto executed a last-minute lariat, securing victory and claiming the championship nearly a year after his previous loss.

Shortly after, Recto’s rivalry with DBW intensified due to his son Dalton Ewing’s public slander and alliance with Dallas Myers, igniting one of CWE's largest turf wars. In response, Recto teamed up with 'The God' Cameron, defeating Myers and Ewing, earning a shot at Myers’ Million Dollar Championship.

DBW made a surprise move when Victor Stone, now 'Vickz', cashed in his Undisputed MITV Briefcase to win the World Lightweight Championship from Recto. As the year closed, Recto began a new chapter, securing multiple titles, including the Million Dollar, Mexican, X-Division, and Heritage championships. He also regained the Undisputed FSW World Lightweight Championship, defending his titles regularly and closing the year with an 18-minute match against Kian McDonald at Winter TitleLand.

In 2024, the Cattleman Cowboy competed only twice on television, his last match being at Hardcore Justice, where he successfully defended his Mexican championship against Witty and Chris Slava before riding off into the sunset, leaving CWE behind.
