Bio:
Kian McDonald burst onto the scene during the week leading up to FSW's Sink or Swim PPV, winning his debut match by defeating the then-X-Division Champion, Eddie Nitro, to gain entry into the title match between Nitro and Hiro Akira at Sink or Swim, officially making it a triple-threat match. Kian went on to win the title at the pay-per-view, achieving the incredible feat of going from debuting to winning his first title in less than a week.
The Dragon's X-Division title reign included only one televised defence, which took place at Camamania V. In this match, he faced Eddie Nitro again, the same wrestler he had previously defeated in his first match with the company and from whom he had won the title. Kian successfully defended his newly won title inside the confines of a steel cage, marking the first of two matches that night for "The Underdog." After this, Kian took a leave of absence from CWE, and as a result, he was stripped of the title due to his inactivity.
In late 2023, eerie music started playing during breaks in televised shows, soon followed by cryptic videos announcing a new threat to CWE, simply referred to as "The Legion." Mysterious individuals known only by their aliases "The Anonymous" and "The Unknown" began systematically ambushing wrestlers like Dallas Myers, Chris Slava, and Josh Freeman backstage. Prior to these attacks, the wrestlers noticed that they had been featured in the cryptic videos, which they interpreted as warnings to be cautious when alone, especially during the airing of new videos.
The identities of the two perpetrators were revealed in the latter half of the year during the Rebellion PPV. Rel DeSean and Kian McDonald returned to the company after the main event of that evening, unveiling themselves as the men behind the masks. Kian had also returned with a vengeance, determined to reclaim his X-Division title from the new champion. He had his chance to do so at Winter TitleLand, but unfortunately, he lost to the Cattleman Cowboy after an 18-minute clinic between them.
After this, The Legion respectfully went their separate ways behind the scenes. Kian had two more matches in 2024 before taking another leave from the company. Fans are left wondering: will The Dragon make a comeback and reclaim his spot at the top of the card once again?
