Bio:

Rel DeSean, everyone's favourite hardcore superstar, made his CWE debut by facing Dalton Ewing, who was the reigning X-Division champion at the time, in a death match for the CWE X-Division championship. Rel emerged victorious and claimed the title. However, just a few weeks later, he would vacate the X-Division Championship and mysteriously disappear from the company. No one knows where he went or what he did during his time away from CWE. But, a year later, however, things would change dramatically in the landscape of CWE, including the return of a certain Hardcore Icon...

In late 2023, television breaks were disrupted by eerie songs playing through the arena speakers, soon accompanied by enigmatic videos that heralded a new menace to CWE, simply dubbed "The Legion." These shadowy figures, known only as "The Anonymous" and "The Unknown," began a systematic campaign of ambushes against wrestlers like Dallas Myers, Chris Slava, and Josh Freeman in backstage encounters. Before these assaults, the wrestlers had spotted themselves in the bizarre videos, which were interpreted as dire warnings about the perils of being alone when the strange broadcasts would occur.

The identities of the duo were finally unveiled during the Rebellion PPV in the latter half of the year. After a year-long absence, Rel DeSean made a dramatic return, alongside Kian McDonald, in the aftermath of the main event of that night, exposing themselves as the masterminds behind the masks. While Kian aimed to reclaim his X-Division title, Rel set his sights on the ultimate prize, striving for a shot at the world title. His comeback kicked off with a thrilling extreme rules match (which was a signature match-type for the Hardcore Icon), wherein he triumphed over Dallas Myers in true Hardcore Icon style, delivering an Air Raid Crash from the peak of a 6-foot ladder. The following week, at the first CWE event in December, Rel faced off against the Undisputed CWE champion, Smokie Joe, but unfortunately fell short in his quest for victory.

Following Kian McDonald's unsuccessful attempt to claim the CWE X-Division Championship at Winter TitleLand later that month, The Legion decided to go their separate ways behind the scenes. Rel had one last match in the new year before his commitments with hardcore promotions on the indie circuit made it impossible for him to continue working with CWE full-time. This ultimately led to his departure after nearly a year and a half. Will the Hardcore Icon make a comeback and finally achieve his goal of capturing the big one?
